About Peak 47 Trading
History
I founded Peak47 in 2021 and have been trading ever since. I wanted to create this website to share my journey, have a place to post my daily trade reviews, and hopefully allow upcoming traders an insight into what it takes to become successful.
Education
My "formal" trading education has come from the good people at Bear Bull Traders, whose books, videos, webinars, seminars are items that I cannot recommend enough to anyone who is just getting started. My greater education has come from the market itself. And it has been an expensive education at that.
Philosophy
I cannot predict the market. Believe me, I have tried. Instead, my mindset is to ride the momentum that the market provides (when it does provide momentum) and take the profit that the market offers. Trading is not investing. Trading is using high probability strategies that have been tested while respecting the chaos and power of the market by honoring risk management principles. Trading is about having the discipline to follow a system.
